Electronic music lovers and fans all over the world know Dimitri "Vegas" Thivaios as half of the monolithic brotherly duo Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike and as ambassador of the worldwide phenomenon, Tomorrowland.
Voted #1 Dj's of the world once again in 2019, the brothers are superstars in the electronic music scene that earned the adoration of crowds around the globe. Clocking up more than 30 million fans on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & Youtube, and over a billion YouTube views of their immersive, over-the-top live performances and music video's. Their yearly solo-concerts sell out 85.000 tickets in less than 40 minutes, a feat only U2, Madonna, Beyoncé, and Michael Jackson can also claim. Collecting more Gold and Platinum records than they can count, they've also won the hearts of icons across genres, collaborating with heavyweight hitters like David Guetta, Daddy Yankee, Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Martin Garrix, Diplo, Swedish House Mafia, Steve Aoki, Afrojack and Fatboy Slim to Ne-Yo, Lil Jon, Natti Natasha, Kiiara, Era Estrefi & Paris Hilton... and remixing superstars like Coldplay, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Chainsmokers, Major Lazer and many more. They even teamed up with legendary Hollywood composer Hans Zimmer to deliver a part of the soundtrack of the latest Disney "Pirates Of The Caribbean" blockbuster - Salazar's Revenge and created the theme for Mortal Kombat 11, the latest installment of the iconic video game franchise.
After a strong rise in the scene for many years, the duo hit another spotlight moment in 2015 when they were crowned DJ Mag's No. 1 DJs in the world for the first time and their monumental "The Hum" short, featuring Jean Claude Van Damme and Charlie Sheen, which has been viewed over a 100 million times, scaled new heights. Additional success kept rolling in, including Billboard Dance #1 Hits "Higher Place" featuring Ne-Yo and "Complicated" with David Guetta, 'Selfish' with Era Istrefi and "Hey Baby" ft. Diplo and for which the music video offered the brothers another chance to flex creative storytelling muscles with a self-written and directed comic book style adventure. In 2019, their controversial single "Best Friend's Ass" with Paris Hilton united a stellar cast, including Kim Kardashian in one of the craziest music videos of the year - written by Dimitri Vegas himself and their latest single 'Instagram' with Daddy Yankee, David Guetta & Natti Natasha is attacking charts worldwide and breaking new records for the brothers.
Currently touring the world and jumping between Los Angeles and the sunny island of Ibiza as home-bases, the Greek-Born and Belgian raised actor fluently speaks six languages, and represented by CAA, Dimitri is balancing a budding acting career to his already 24/7 filled schedule. He started out by making some remarkable television cameos on European TV- programming and local films. He recently starred in the European blockbuster "Gangsta" by 'Bad Boys 3' Directors Adil El Arbi & Billal Fallah, as well as Jean-Claude Van Damme's gritty action movie 'Lukas' and the upcoming 'Rambo V : Last Blood' alongside Sylvester Stallone, while also appearing in the latest installment of Mortal Kombat as the voice and face of fan-favorite Sub-Zero and as an alien in Men In Black : International. After revealing upcoming roles in movies like George Romero's "Rise of the Living Dead" prequel, a lot more exciting acting parts are to be announced in the near future. He has also fallen in love with voice acting after Disney offered a role on the Belgian version of their blockbuster 'Big Hero 6' and he was asked for voicing Spider-Man in Sony's Oscar winning 'Into The Spider- Verse' animated movie, as well as doing motion capture and lending his voice to "Sub-Zero" in Mortal Kombat 11.
Hungry for the chance to tell his own stories, he's got various TV-shows and movies in development , and is creating a cutting edge animated series together with the renowned Shadow Machine studios. Dimitri is strongly committed to his new foray, moving in & out from Ibiza to LA to focus on upcoming shoots and if you can count on anything, count on Dimitri to work hard and dream big.- Carry Goossens born Edgard Goossens in 1953 in Mechelen region of Antwerp, Flanders, has become a mainstay in Flemish television and film. Johan Antierens was born on the 22nd August 1937 as the youngest child of 12 children. In the beginning he wanted to become an artist, but under the influence of his brothers Jef and Karel he swopped the pencil for a pen. This pen was sometimes a deadly weapon in his hands. Anthierens went consistent his own way, and made opposition against everything that smelt of establishment. "What is the use of becoming a reporter if you behave yourself as a public servant ?", he once said. He said that he enjoyed oneself very much in that job. He often showed one's paces, and often fell on the ground and even more often came into collision, but he had lived provoced and shown what kind of individual he was. What kind of man he was he showed to the readers of 15 different newspapers and magazins he worked with. He worked with magazines as Humo, Knack and even a women magazine called Mimo, where he became chief editor in 1969. It went not so well with his own 'children' : 'De Zwijger' and 'Gaandeweg'. They were very quick marked for death. The books he wrote as there are : 'Het Belgische Domdenken'(1986), 'Brief aan een Postzegel'(1990) (ÿetter to a stamp', because the King of Belgium is often pictured on a stamp), and 'Tricolore Tranen. Boudewijn en het augustusverdriet' proved that he had a wonderful sharp and critical pen. Even the television wasn't save for his long tongue. In the seventies spectators of 'The Wies Andersen Show' became indignant at the fact that he mentioned, at that time in 'Catholic ' Flanders, that he was happily divorced. People who were intimate with him said that he was too strong for that little Flanders. He was never indulgent, he was an intellectual 'pain in the neck'. He criticized everyone and everything. But behind the mask of big bad wolf, one could find much warmth and liberality.- Fien Leysen was born on 19 March 1989 in Mechelen, Belgium. She is an actress, known for Recht op recht (1998).
